Brazil Tiradentes, Ouro Preto, Mariana and Congonhas

South America
One of the most charming places in the world may be closer than you think

We often travel far, even abroad, in search of culture, fun and beautiful places. Many other times too, we forget that some of the places that are attractive to foreigners who land here are on our side.

As a legitimate miner, I'm even ashamed to confess that I went to see the Historic Cities of Minas Gerais when I was already very big, even though I lived just a few kilometers away for my entire childhood and adolescence. And there are still some missing, like Diamantina, for example.

That's why my friend Adolf and I embarked on a backpacking trip over the All Souls' holiday Tiradentes, Black gold, Mariana It is Congonhas.

There we discovered beautiful landscapes, had a lot of fun and learned even more about our own history!

+ Tiradentes: the best of Historic Cities
+ Mariana Passage Mine: a unique experience at 120m depth
+ Ouro Preto reveals beauty amid mistreatment
+ Have you ever imagined yourself on top of the world? I went and was in Brazil!
+ Aleijadinho’s prophets in Congonhas

And more:

+ Tiradentes and São João del Rei by plane
+ Carnival of marchinhas in Tiradentes
